Korean-American singer, AleXa, is set to hit New York City on her upcoming US Tour, ‘Sick of You.’
Starting March 29th, AleXa will embark on part one of her 2024 US Tour, ‘Sick of You,’ spanning late March to mid-April.
The ‘Sick of You’ tour will kick off at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. Other cities on the tour include Chicago, Atlanta, Tulsa, Dallas, and last but not least, Los Angeles on April 7th.
The tour is named after her recently released English single, “Sick,” which dropped on February 23rd, as her first track of the year. The 2000s-inspired pop-punk track shows fans a different side of the artist as she expresses the inner turmoil faced during a tumultuous relationship. Throughout the song, AleXa compares herself to her partner, finding him “hot” and “perfect,” but views herself in a darker light. She struggles to find a flaw in him when all she can see is flaws in herself; it all makes her “sick.” The song shows the struggle behind leaving a relationship that causes more harm than good to learn how to embrace and love yourself wholeheartedly.
Her music video further pushes the point home as she “kills” the romanticized version of her boyfriend and smiles at the end, indicating a sense of freedom and release. “Sick” is a powerful track that showcases the struggle and importance of healing, self-discovery, and self-love. This track also marks the beginning of a transformative and new artistic era for AleXa.
Fans can look forward to hearing this new track live on her tour, as well as some popular hits that have since been released like “Wonderland,” “Do or Die,” and “Bomb.”
