The instrumental to “Let Me Go” was actually the first thing Spencer and I wrote together. We had a different vocalist at the time who had written the vocals to it. This vocalist left and we immediately scrapped the old version before it entered the world. Three years later, Spencer and I sat down again and wrote brand new lyrics/melodies to the exact same instrumental. I didn’t even think we would be releasing it initially. Then, Spencer started using the song to pitch us to a few people. Nick was immediately interested and saw potential in us and what we’re trying to accomplish.

We recorded the song with our good friend Nathan Cloos of Cloos Audio. He’s a well known producer in Arkansas and surrounding states though he hasn’t had any big name clients yet. His work is always top notch. Nathan really helped us produce a track that was a step up from previous releases. We had just gone through losing our other guitarist who also did backing vocals. Nathan challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and to step into the vocal booth. Through this process, it became apparent that we all clicked well with Nathan and his vision was the same as ours. Now he’s playing guitar for us and we couldn’t ask for a more dedicated member.

The video was shot when we went to Ohio to meet the staff at InVogue for the first time. John and Priscilla were great to work with on set. They were positive and focused. We’re really excited to see what comes next visual-wise.

Now that “Let Me Go” is released, we’re preparing for upcoming shows, scheduling more for later this year, and working on our next release. We’ve created something that is vibrant, ambitious, and deviates a little from the sound that this single has. We can’t wait to show it to the world and hope everyone loves it.
