Oscar Lang recently released the video for his recent single “Easy to Love”. This single is from his newest EP, Overthunk. This EP follows his second release with Dirty Hit after his debut EP bops etc., which was a major success for the artist.

Oscar Lang has a voice that reminds me of every song that my mom played from the 80s during my childhood. This song is infectious and makes you drift off into a state where all you want to do is singalong. It’s a song that describes a relationship that seems okay, but in the end is just horrible for the both of the people involved.

The video that accompanies this song surrounds two people that appear to be on a date. We watch as time passes and they seem happy together and secure in their relationship. The longer we watch them the more we see the flaws this relationship has and how it is slowly falling apart. It is hard to watch something that was so sweet to turn into something sour.

We watch all of this as Lang sings about his relationship he had then he  begins to miss it. As the video and song progresses he doesn’t miss them anymore, but he still loves them and releases how easy it was to love them but how hard they were to get over in the end.

I found this track absolutely perfect to explain the amount of complicated relationships we find ourselves in today. I can easily see this song becoming an easy add to everyone’s breakup playlists.

You can stream the track, and check out the music video below.
