Tinashe set the stage ablaze at Terminal 5, New York City, on her latest tour BB/ANG3L.

BB/ANG3L is Tinashe’s most recent album, released on September 8th, 2023, as a follow-up to her 2021 album, 333. BB/ANG3L marks the singer-songwriter’s sixth studio album and her third album as an independent artist. With just seven songs in her latest project – featuring two singles, “Talk to Me Nice” and “Needs” – Tinashe is stepping into a solo spotlight, reaffirming her commitment to delivering her artistic narrative without distraction.

First on the stage was The Jersey Club Queen, UNIIQU3. Hailing from the East Coast herself, UNIIQU3 brought that home spirit to the stage. The energy was high from the moment she stepped on stage, dancers following behind as the crowd buzzed and cheered. UNIIQU3 displayed her multiple talents center stage, showing both long-time fans and newcomers her ability to sing, dance, and manage the turn tables; She took the time to play some of her best mixes and keep the crowd on their feet. UNIIQU3 lived up to her reputation as The Jersey Club Queen with a performance that left no doubt about why she holds that title.

After UNIIQU3’s captivating performance, anticipation built throughout the crowd as the lights dimmed and a countdown appeared on the center screen. Fans began to count down along with it, getting louder as they made their way closer to zero. As the lights dimmed, Tinashe’s silhouette emerged on the center elevated platform, captivating the audience with the opening lines of “Treason,” the first song on her album.

Throughout the night, fans witnessed Tinashe’s musical evolution as she showcased tracks from the BB/ANG3L album and performed acclaimed covers like “The Worst in Me” and “Gold Teeth.”  Tinashe made sure to take fans back to her earlier days, including some favorites on the setlist like “X,” “Throw a Fit,” and her debut track from 2014, “2 On.”

Tinashe brought the stage to life, seamlessly transitioning from energetic dance-pop numbers to soulful and raw R&B hits. The BB/ANG3L tour is a testament to the growth Tinashe has achieved throughout her ten-year tenure as an artist, highlighting the musical versatility of her discography. Her stage presence and performance showcase her professionalism and skill as a performer, cementing her status as one to watch in 2024.
