After a month long run of shows, Movements finished off their spring tour at Chicago’s Metro. Supporting Movements were Boston Manor, Trash Boat, and Drug Church. Starting off the night was Drug Church, who brought a great opening stage performance. Throughout their set, they were constantly hyping up their fellow tourmates and really pumping the crowd up.
Next up were the bands from just across the pond, Trash Boat being from St. Albans, England, and Boston Manor being from Blackpool. I was first introduced to Trash Boat at Warped Tour 2018. I really gravitated towards their energy on stage then and still enjoy their stage presence now. Personally, I was stoked to see Boston Manor because I got to hear them play tracks like “Laika” and “Bad Machine” live.
Finally, Movements took to the stage. My favorite songs from their set were “Daylily” and “Suffer Through” off their album Feel Something. Overall, the Movements show was fun and energetic with a stacked lineup that only comes every once in a blue moon.
