On April 4th, new age rockers JXDN and Beauty School Dropout performed at Vivid Music Hall in Gainesville, Florida. Fans lined up early for the show Tuesday night in anticipation of the night ahead of them.

Beauty School Dropout was up first, putting on a high energy show that amazed everyone in attendance. They played a mix of their discography, most notable being their song with Royal & the Serpent titled “Starphuker.” The band left the crowd wanting more, and don’t worry this wasn’t the last the crowd saw of them!

Ready for the next loud, fun, and energetic set, the fans chanted “Jaden! Jaden! Jaden!”, but when JXDN hit the stage the whole crowd roared even more in excitement. JXDN opened the set with his most recent single “Friends With Benefits” before playing some more high energy tracks from his debut album “TELL ME ABOUT TOMORROW.” The set quickly got emotional when JXDN performed a cover of Coldplay’s “Yellow”, one of his early singles “Pray”, and a part of his debut title track “TELL ME ABOUT TOMORROW” all back to back to back. After the emotional moment he brought the energy back with a mixture of his debut album and some unreleased tracks. JXDN also performed a cover of “The Hills” by the Weeknd, Not too long after, Beauty School Dropout joined JXDN on stage to perform their song “FREAK” together! A total of twenty tracks were performed, second to last being JXDN’s hit “ANGELS & DEMONS”. After a short break, JXDN closed out the night with an unreleased song called “Elevated Heartbreak.”

The venue’s atmosphere combined with the incredible lightshow and stellar performances made this a night to remember. JXDN pumped up the crowd through the entire set, and the whole crowd was engaged with the performance through every song that was played. Jumping, waving arms, flashlights, anything you could think of.
