On Friday, March 13th of 2026, Beartooth performed a captivating show in support of Bad Omens at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. The last time I had personally seen Beartooth live was a throwback to 2014 on tour with Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens, which was only a 3,500 capacity venue in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Twelve years later and at a venue four times the size, Beartooth put on a show that made the former pale in comparison.
Coming out to a crowd screaming in excitement, Beartooth started the stage for an evening of rocking music to come. They opened the set with the song “Might Love Myself,” which was released also on Friday the 13th but in October 2023. This song set the inspiring tone for the communal music experience to come. Modern metalcore has always had a thriving Philadelphia community, and they certainly showed up in darkly clothed masses to enjoy the evening to come.
Loud live music is always a fun Friday out, but Beartooth overdelivered as openers for Bad Omens on this tour. Setting a dramatic and exciting tone, it was only a matter of time for the main act to take the stage. By mixing early 2010’s classics with more recent releases, this show had much to offer for new and old fans alike. Overall, the show was full of passionate musical prowess and pounding illustrious instrumentals. Beartooth tore through the night with vocals that pierced the fans’ beating hearts.
