AleXa electrified the Music Hall of Williamsburg during the first night of her “Sick of You” tour in Brooklyn, New York, on March 29th.

This was her second time in New York City as a solo artist since her first US tour in 2020.

The lights dimmed promptly at 8:15 PM, and fans clamored with excitement as the intro video played. With no openers on the lineup, AleXa launched the show with enthusiasm. Joined by her dancers, she opened with “Wonderland,” the track that secured her first-place victory in the 2022 American Song Contest where she represented her home state, Oklahoma.

The first half of the show showcased AleXa’s musical versatility, including tracks like “Back in Love,” “Extra,” “Endorphin,” “Juliet,” and her recent pop-punk hit “Sick.” To add to the excitement, AleXa also delivered a cover of the iconic song, “Just a Girl,” originally sung by No Doubt.

Taking a moment to connect with fans, AleXa donned angel wings and engaged directly with the audience during a special live talk segment of the show. She read out questions submitted by the audience seeking advice. With warmth and authenticity, AleXa offered heartfelt advice, connecting with her fans on a deeper level. She would later come back out during the show’s second half with devil ears, where her advice became “brutal honesty.”

Following a news segment on the screen featuring AleXa herself, she returned after a costume change to introduce an unreleased track titled “Distraction,” which captures the same 2000s pop-punk vibe as her song “Sick.” “Distraction” wasn’t the only unreleased hit fans got to enjoy, as she also sang “The Joy of Missing Out,” based on her own experiences of dealing with FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).

After came the trilogy of AleXa’s debut; “Revolution,” “Do or Die,” and finally, her debut single, “Bomb.”

Though fans thought the night was over, AleXa graced fans with one more song during her encore, an unreleased track introduced at Jingle Ball last year, “I’m Okay.”  While introducing the songs to fans, she said it is “an anthem to those struggling with mental illness.”

AleXa firmly established herself as a standout artist, captivating fans with her powerful performances and genuine care and connection as she reminds fans “The world is crazy and all we can do is love each other.” Her raw vocals, fluidity and adaptability between musical genres, and heartfelt messages of love and self-acceptance have struck a chord with audiences, leaving a lasting impression.

As AleXa continues to grow as an artist, fans can look forward to more exciting music and unforgettable moments, both in K-pop and beyond.
