I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Against The Current concert at Rise Rooftop in Houston, TX, and I must say, it was nothing short of a glimmering, electrifying experience. From start to finish, the band had the crowd on their feet, moving and grooving to every note and beat.
Lead vocalist Chrissy Costanza stole the show with her incredible range and powerful stage presence. Her vocals were so on point that it was almost as if you were listening to the recorded version of the songs. But what really stood out was how she connected with the audience, drawing them into the performance and making them feel like they were a part of something special.
Dan Gow’s guitar skills were a standout as well, as he delivered expertly crafted riffs that added depth and complexity to the band’s sound. And Will Ferri on the drums kept the beat tight and steady, driving the energy of the performance to new heights.

Keeping a Houston audience engaged and attentive is difficult no matter what day you perform in Houston. They had everyone singing along to their hit singles like “Running with the Wild Things” and “Wasteland,” and the crowd was just as engaged with their newer material, such as “That Won’t Save Us.”
