What’s a better start to a tour than releasing a new single?

The Greeting Committee kicked off their To Feel Alright Again tour with the release of “Hopscotch,” a peppy look back on living and learning.

Introspective and nuanced, the song is catchy and smooth listening, and definitely a wonderful place to start for new or returning fans.

While the chorus of “Hopscotch” is to the point, shirking off the unrecognizable self or friend, the verses cut to the bone.

With lyrics like “I tried my best, how was I to notice, A broken wrist when my arms are missing,” I’m sent back to when I was young and trusting, and it makes me reminisce on what I have learned.

The sound and energy reminds me of Marina and The Diamonds, while still rolling along with other trailblazing bands in the scene, like Stand Atlantic.

The Greeting Committee just closed out 2022 with the remainder of their To Feel Alright Again tour. They are currently working on their next project.
