Jen Janet is someone we find ourselves asking “what can’t they do?”.

One of her latest projects, “Possession”, begins slow and draws the listener in with vocals that are angelic in nature. This single feels like the intro to an anime and I thoroughly enjoy it. The heavy instrumental compliments the light voice we hear.

Her latest track, “I Don’t Belong” flows well from “Possession”. The message this song conveys is definitely not lost on me, and I appreciate it.

Jen Janet shows us with these tracks that you can create the feeling of a power ballad that still fits so well within the alternative rock genre. I can see her quickly rising to become a star among the genre.

You can stream both tracks below.
