Canadian based rock group Write Home recently dropped their latest single “Wasting Away”, a beautiful ballad featuring the insanely talented Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker.

Everything about this track is incredible from the gut punching lyrics that tell the story perfectly and are on a real topic many can relate too, to the soft hard-hitting instrumentals pulling everything together they absolutely did an incredible job on the track. Lyrics like “Cause I’m so tired of these four white walls I’m sick of feeling like I’m so small. My head can’t shake the doubt and this time I won’t make it out I can’t escape myself” so perfectly describes what so many people feel or have felt, the feelings of being alone and doubting yourself just not being able to get out of your own head.

The accompanying video really pulls everything together beautifully and gives the perfect visual for the story they are trying to tell. Rory Rodriguez is an insanely talented vocalist and his feature really pulled everything fully together.

I am so excited to hear whatever Write Home puts out next because this track is beautiful. “Wasting Away” is out now on all streaming platforms.
