After months of hints and sending fans into a frenzy with messages of “Saturday 7 pm” and other odd clues, pop-punk powerhouses Waterparks have finally revealed their third full-length album, titled Fandom, with the release of their latest single,”Watch What Happens Next”.
The track examines the hypocrisy of fandom culture, success, and analyzes the struggle to break out of the constraint of labels, genres, and the culture of music today. “Watch What Happens Next” is unapologetic, blunt, and a glimpse into Awsten Knight’s view of the music industry.
Fandom drops October 11th via Hopeless Records and is available for preorder now.
