After taking a hiatus, with their last releases “Clean” and “Ego” back in 2021, the Dallas alt-pop trio Little Image is back with their first release of 2022, “Lungs Burn.”

The track is all about letting go and being yourself, living in the moment while not being connected to a cell phone and technology.

While talking about the song, the band expressed that it’s “a cry for people to come together and experience something without [technology and the toxicities that exist there] in play, and truly feel something bigger than themselves.”

Since their earlier releases back in 2021, Little Image have taken things to a new level, taking time to reflect and explore different ways to create a pop-rock song beyond the usual template. Their self-reflection and new burst of creativity definitely shows in their newest track.

“Lungs Burn” is a dance-inducing, synth-driven song with an electric baseline easy to vibe to. It’s a reflective track perfect for taking a step back and learning how to experience life without the nagging urge to document every moment.

Little Image recently opened for Panic! At the Disco earlier in October and are gearing up for their solo show in Los Angeles, California, at The Moroccan Lounge, November 1st. The band will also be joining Colony House on their 2023 tour, The Cannonballers Tour.
