Following the release of their most recent album, Anon, in 2018, Australian rockers Hands Like Houses are back with their latest release, “Space”, along with an accompanying music video.

I have always loved Hands Like Houses, and they have continued to impress yet again with “Space.”

This track is the group’s second song to be released this year, following “Headrush” back in March. “Space” discusses themes of isolation and needing time and space. It is a very fitting track in these times of social distancing.

In the music video, directed by Rhys Graham and produced by Jensen Cope, the group draws on the song’s themes of isolation and communication, portraying a young woman bouncing from empty hotels on a journey to find a new direction in life.

It is yet to be known if this track will be a stand-alone single or part of a new album coming in the future, but I am excited to see what comes next for the group.

You can check out the music video for “Space” below.
