On October 18th of 2019, the Atlanta-based progressive rock band Cascadent released their new single, “Oslo”. Despite only being in the scene since the summer of 2017, Cascadent is taking control and this new single shows exactly that.

The song opens with an almost melodic theme of guitars and vocals from the frontman, Brad Pallone, who had joined Cascadent earlier this year. It then goes into the guitar heavy sound of punk that you know so well.

“Oslo” is a track that has the right number of breakdowns with intimate lyrics paired with an upbeat tone. It has the fun sound that the diverse rock genre loves, and it leaves you wanting to listen to it on repeat.

If you like artists like Dance Gavin Dance and Tides of Man, Cascadent will definitely be your next favorite.
