Brooklane, the North Dakota-based pop-punk band, recently released their newest single Love is Bullshit ft. Jessie Paege. It is exciting to receive this single as Brooklane just wrapped up their first headlining national tour. This single could not have come at a better time. It was released on Feb. 10th just days before Valentine’s Day, a day some love but some dread.

This single is the ultimate song for those on the cynical side of love. For a song with a disagreeable view on love, it is catchy. As someone who doesn’t share this view on love even I can’t help but like this song. It worms its way into your head and eventually into your heart.

I won’t say you’ll love it because you know, Love is Bullshit — but Brooklane has that pop-punk sound I feel a sense of nostalgia with, and Jessie comes in with a melodic voice that ties this anti-love song together.
