The alternative duo Broken Bones Matilda recently dropped a new single entitled “Everafter.” The band’s style has been described as “Nick Cave meets Fleetwood Mac” and the new single proves it.  Despite the song only being a little over three minutes in length, the magical vocals manage to transport listeners to a hazy new reality.

With a mixture of calming guitars and warm vocals the song reflects on a teenage romance. Not only does the overall sound of the song give off vibes of a calming love but the lyrics do as well. The song perfectly reflects the mixture of confidence and vulnerability that teenagers feel during their first love.

Broken Bones Matilda have an exceptionally unique sound and “Everafter” allows them to showcase their talents while telling a beautiful story. Go give “Everafter” a listen below!
