Arrows in Action, hailing from Gainesville, FL, is a pop rock quartet with new music on the way. Their latest single, “Close Enough,” was recorded at Track Happy Studios with Rian Dawson of All Time Low and Dan Swank. The track serves as the lead single from the four song EP that they plan to release. If it sounds anything like this first track, then we’re hooked.

The song is full of funky guitar riffs and vocals that make you want to sing along. With introspective lyrics like “love me until the flavor fades away,” the listener gets a front-row seat to a couple desperately trying to stay together despite their relationship crumbling to pieces right in front of them. Not only are the lyrics fantastic, but the instrumental makes you want to groove, reminiscent of Grayscale’s most recent album — yet with a little more funk.

If you’ve got some spare time on your hands, I recommend listening to this song on repeat. You’ll thank me later.
