The Japanese House, the solo project of English indie pop musician Amber Bains, recently stopped in San Francisco at The Fillmore for an intimate evening of music. Throughout her set, Bains performed a variety of tracks from her recent EPs and albums, with many from her most recent studio album, In the End It Always Does, which explores Bains’ identity, queerness, and raw emotions post a breakup.
