Unlocking the Vault: Ranking 1989 TV Vault Tracks

While each song is uniquely incredible and it’s hard to grasp how these songs were discarded for nearly a decade, there is a clear hierarchy within the tracks. It is my honor to rank each of these tracks for your reading pleasure with the clear intention of entertainment. By no means is this list intended to tear down anyone’s favorite songs or personal preferences, it is simply an ordered list of how I experienced and digested each track to place them in a clear rank over time.

Odd Polly: Y’allternative Band (What The F*ck Is That?)

If there was one takeaway from the evening, it would be that Odd Polly, a band infamous for lore, must be shared with the public. From Joshua’s camo crocs, no socks just straight dogs out on the fine streets of Philadelphia, to Eli proudly wearing a Morbius shirt despite never having even seen the feature film, this band was full of character and spirit of the DIY alternative scene. Spending time to chat with such down to Earth artists who create such amazing music is an absolute gift.
