Shinedown brought Kearney, Nebraska fans to “Planet Zero” during their performance at the Viaero Center on July 12. They had support from Salt Creek and Ayron Jones.

Nebraska local band Salt Creek opened the show as fans were welcomed into the event center.

Ayron Jones followed Salt Creek with an electric stage presence. They played favorites like “Take Me Away” and even covered a Nirvana song.

Ayron Jones was very interactive with the crowd and pumped them up for the upcoming headlining act.

The moment the lights turned down for Shinedown, the crowd was met with an introduction video to the tour accompanied by the introduction track “2184” from their latest album, “Planet Zero.” This only built anticipation for the artist to take the stage.

Shinedown came out and immediately brought the energy as they rocked with fireworks and other fire effects on stage.

Fans screamed back lyrics from songs such as the title track “Planet Zero” as well as fan favorites like “45.” They closed the night with “Sound of Madness.”
