Kim Petras is known for her holiday releases, especially the Halloween drops, and just in time for Valentine’s Day, the absolute queen has graced us with another one. This time fully embracing her promiscuous side, we have Slut Pop. This is her fourth EP, but her first release on her new label, Republic Records.

Every song title is just as bold and confident as Petras herself. On tracks like “Treat Me Like Slut” and “Superpower Bitch”, we see Petras embrace the fact she knows exactly what she wants, how she likes it, and that she knows who she is and what she is about. “Throat Goat” is precisely what you could imagine it to be about, with the intro starting with the sound of gargling; we again see Petras be loud and proud and stand for her truth. Petras left nothing to be imagined on this EP as she confidently discusses the things she likes, and with the ending track “Your Wish is my Command,” confidently reminds us that she likes it all.

Inspired by the sex worker community, Slut Pop is all about sexual liberation and being comfortable and proud of that side of yourself. This EP does not back down or slow down one bit; in just 15 minutes, Petras managed to pack in 7 heavy-bass and synth-filled club jams. The way the EP was marketed was genius, with a whole website that looks incredibly similar to a porn site, and a club crawl where she performed in multiple clubs in the same night. Everything so perfectly fits the whole image of the EP.

Slut Pop is out now on all platforms. You can stream it below.
