Pop punk trio Sundressed recently released their newest track, “Oh Please”, alongside a music video that perfectly depicts days in quarantine.

The track is filled with relatable lyrics like “I can’t pay a single bill, I haven’t seen a doctor still” and “I’m making progress, but I’m such a mess“. “Oh Please” is an anthem that reminds us that it’s okay to be a work in progress, especially in uncertain times like these.

It’s refreshing to hear a song like “Oh Please” during such a crucial time for so many of us. Quarantine’s encouraged a lot of us to be introspective and consider ways to be better people, but it can also put a strain on us, creatively, financially, and mentally. Sundressed has encapsulated that feeling, but provides a glimmer of hope that we’ll make it out alright in the end.

The band, and Rude Records, are doing what they can to be part of that silver lining.

Sundressed is inviting fans to submit videos of them singing along to “Oh Please” to enter for a chance to win one of their bills to be paid by Rude Cares, Rude Records’ newly launched charitable arm. You can learn more about the contest and how to enter by clicking here.

Though the live music industry is on pause for the moment, it’s clear that “Oh Please” will be fun to sing and dance along to when shows start back up. In the meantime, you can check out the video for the song below.
