Eliza & The Delusionals rolled into Houston, Texas on a particularly cloudy day. Their performance, however, brightened the day with the beautiful lighting on stage as well as the powerful show they put on.
You can feel the electricity the band puts out into the atmosphere. Eliza & The Delusionals bring this feeling on stage where you feel as though you’re watching a band perform that’s about to make it big. This tour has been a big opportunity for them, and I believe will be a key stepping stone onto a bigger platform, which they deserve.
The band chose songs like, “Deep End” and “19” which immediately grabbed my attention because of the heavy use of guitar and drums — the songs really pull you in and make you want to bop your head along to the sound. This could be seen in the audience, which was extremely varied from small children to teenagers and their parents. The audience was clearly very pleased and into the show.
Listening in on conversations during the short intervals of the band pausing and starting up a new song, you could hear multiple people murmuring to one another that they enjoy the band, and would like to look into them more after the show.
