“EVERYTHING GOES ON” BY PORTER ROBINSON

Star Guardian is an alternate universe in the world of League of Legends, a multiplayer online battle arena. The 30-year-old DJ has only recently used his vocals more deliberately in the past few years, blessing Star Guardian with his electro-house tunes. Although the tune to the song might sound happy and upbeat, the music video shares a bittersweet story that is worth a watch.

“DIE FOR YOU” BY GRABBITZ

VALORANT gained a lot of traction as a game even before its official release. A lot of players were eager to play the game even in its beta stage back in 2019, and it has a steady group of people from all over the world who play the game religiously. They only really started releasing songs for their game aggressively within the past year. “Die For You” is a dark song that demands your attention. Similar to Robinson, Grabbitz not only DJs, but is also a skilled vocalist.

“FACE MY FEARS” BY HIKARU UTADA & SKRILLEX

Skrillex is considered a legend in the electronic dance music scene. This song is originally sung by Hikaru Utada in Japanese. An English version was released when Skrillex remixed the song as the opening theme for Kingdom Hearts III. This song feels dramatic because of Utada’s vocals. Mixed in with Skrillex’ skills, it emanates a futuristic, fast-paced feel that makes the gaming experience exciting and fun to play.

“ENEMY” BY IMAGINE DRAGONS & JID

At this point it’s helpful to mention that League of Legends and VALORANT are both from RIOT games. These titles lead at releasing hits that stay true to their content. What’s interesting about this song, is that Arcane is actually a TV series that explains the backstory of the players of League. This game has a strong global following, and many live and breathe the League of Legends lifestyle.

“ETA” BY DR. DRE, SNOOP DOGG, BUSTA RHYMES, & ANDERSON .PAAK

Dr. Dre not only released a song for Grand Theft Auto Online, but he also appeared in the game as a character in one of its updates earlier this year. He’s a very fitting artist for the game, as GTA has been around since the late 90’s — a time when he was already flourishing as a rap producer and artist. The song has a “low and slow” feeling, as if one is cruising down a seaside boulevard in a convertible on a summer day.
