“I came up with this character, Joseph Courtney, and that’s kind of his whole vibe. It allowed me to have an excuse to channel a lot of my more energetic and a little crazy personality into that and be able to use that as a performance. So Joseph Courtney is just this character who’s kind of a little out of his mind and really craving attention and wanting to perform and wanting an audience and all that kind of stuff.”
